Update: SubscribeStar Reward System Fix

We’ve recently identified and amended two exploits that allowed users to repeatedly claim monthly SubscribeStar gem rewards.

What’s Changing?

Previously, users could:

• Pay for multiple SubscribeStar subscriptions and receive multiple payouts of monthly gem rewards within a single billing period.

What’s New?

Going forward:

• If you resubscribe to SubscribeStar within 30 days of receiving your last full monthly gem reward, you will now receive one-fifth (1/5th) of the full monthly gem reward for your subscription tier.
• Users can no longer cancel an existing Subscribestar subscription and resubscribe to receive their full monthly reward.
• Once your subscription rebills normally, you will receive the full monthly gem reward again.

Why the Change?

• These updates prevent abuse of SubscribeStar's subscription reward system and ensure that it remains fair and consistent for all users and payment methods.
• The revised rewards structure ensures consistency with the gem-per-dollar rate available in comparable single-purchase tiers.

What’s Next?

• We’re always looking for ways to improve our product. Stay tuned for updates on new features and additional avenues to earn gems in the future.
• If you’re upgrading your subscription tier through SubscribeStar, you do not need to cancel your current subscription. When you upgrade, you’ll automatically receive compensation equal to the difference in monthly gem rewards between your old tier and the new one.
  • Please note: CCBill subscriptions cannot be upgraded mid-cycle. To move to a higher tier using CCBill, you will need to cancel your current subscription and start a new one at the desired tier.
